About Attollo - The People's Development Network
Attollo - The People's Development Network is a decentralised, Impact, social networking platform based in Scotland, UK. Our vision is to eliminate poverty.
Since incorporation, in 2016, Attollo has been internationally recognised on three separate occassions, with the third being an invitation to the United Nations, in New York, for a model UN summit. Domestically Attollo has been commended a further seven times, including an invitation to the House of Lords; announced as one of Scotland's 100 most disruptive start-ups by the Hunter Foundation; praised by RedBull in their Amaphiko Connect competition and invited to a join three leading accelerators, with the last being at the internationally recognised Gogarburn Headquarters of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Saving the best for last; our invitation to a private dinner event, co-hosted by Sir David Attenborough is one of our proudest memories thus far.

Our users put forward ideas to tackle problems their communities are facing, they align each idea with a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal and outline how their project is the solution to the problem they face
Attollo empowers communities by funding user-generated initiatives, which aim to create positive social and environmental change, using sustianable revenue streams.

Each project is built, harnessing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, a global framework designed to eliminate poverty.
Attollo ensures that each project is created using sustainable methodologies, revenue streams and resources in order to deliver maxium value back to its recipient community.
Eliminating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship
Our projects are paid for using sustainable revenue streams, so there's no need to accept donations; a true paadigm shift from the typical Charity model.
Once created, our projects can sell their goods/services back to our growing user-base, through an eCommerce model. This allows people all over the world to support the global Impact industry worth over $1.164 Trillion (usd)
As our projects grow they continue to hire staff, local to the area and through this sustainable job creation model we're able to eliminate poverty in the areas in which we work.
Technology
Our platform is being built using state-of-the-art technology. It consists of our own dedicated layer 1 decentralised, proof of stake, blockchain, powered by smart contract functionality.
We've chosen this approach as it delivers both value and security to all our users and stakeholders, creating an environment of transparrency and collaboration.
Our own native Attollo Coin facilitates transactions and can be earned through engagement on our platform, allowing people to create additional income, whilst also creating a better a world.
Creating Value
Attollo is incorporated as a Private Limited Company, moderated by shares. Using this for-profit structure allows for the exponential creation of value on behalf of our online community, our portfoilio of projects, our investors and Attollo itself.
The benefit here is that unlike a social enterprise or Charity, we're not restricted by an asset-lock; our unique approach allows us to expand into our industry without limitation.
Attollo will apply for B-Corp accreditation once our platform is live and we can showcase our approach and impact underpinned and evidenced by the work we do for each community.
